Title - The Neuroscience of Change: Why Do Our Brains Hate Change So Much?
Speaker - Ryan Richardson, Co-Founder & CEO of Praxis Enablement, Host of The Learning Lever podcast
Location - Bike Dog Brewing, Broadway Location: 915 Broadway Suite 200 Sacramento, CA 95818
Details:
Change is harder than it should be, and your brain is the reason why. Ryan Richardson has spent years studying why smart, capable, motivated people struggle with change, and he’s figured out what you can do to make change easier. In this lecture, he’ll walk you through exactly what's firing inside your head when the ground shifts beneath your feet.
When you understand why change feels the way it does, you can stop fighting yourself, make better decisions, recover faster, and show up differently for the people around you. You’ll walk away from this lecture with a new language for what you’re feeling, a clearer read on how much change you can actually carry, and techniques that work whether you’re leading a team of fifty or just trying to get through Monday.
Ryan Richardson is a transformational learning executive with over two decades of experience helping elite organizations build high-performance cultures and navigate complex change. He’s the co-founder and advisor of Rise Sports Collective, an EdTech company revolutionizing professional development in the sports business industry, and the co-founder and CEO of Praxis Enablement. He hosts The Learning Lever podcast, where he explores how specialized knowledge and context create momentum in organizations, and recently launched his second podcast, The Enablement Imperative, focused on the human side of AI enablement.
Bike Dog is located at 915 Broadway Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95818. They serve a wide selection of beers and non-alcoholic beverages, and guests can order food from Selland's Cafe next door using QR codes on the tables.
